Quote:I sent my transcripts to TESC and I received them. I need about 30 hours. I was planning on using Straighterline and Penn Foster for my Homeland Security Degree.Could you specify in which areas the 30 hours are needed (i.e. Area of Study, Free Electives, etc)?
Any suggestions on getting this done easier/more economical?
Quote:So if I take a class at Straighterline and pass it what's next? Do I send it to ACE to start a transcript there? I confused on how all of this works. What if I take the course and TESC accepts it now but a year from now they don't accept it. Am I grandfathered in? My previous college was 20 years ago.You can send your StraighterLine credits to ACE. However, you do not need to send an ACE transcript to TESC unless you have ACE credits from other sources, too. Instead, you can request a free transcript from StraighterLine to be sent directly to TESC.
As long as you've transferred the course credits successfully to TESC and this is reflected in your transcript, you should be grandfathered into any changes.
