TESC Residency Requirement

You would be covered under the MDCP, or something similar: Thomas Edison State College: Flexible, online degrees and certificates for active duty service members

As an AD member myself, it capped tuition at the maximum TA limit of $250 per credit (not aware if it's the same for NJ residents).

This would also require you to complete 24 credits for residency requirements for any bachelor's degree.

If you decide to test out completely, then the cost would be roughly $70 (application fee) + $896 ($112 [guessing on the price, it's been a while] per 3-credit TECEP, times 8, also meeting the residency requirements in the process) + cost of books and other supplies. The rest of the 112 credits you can technically fill up for free with CLEP/DSST as a military member + any accredited training you may have received (both of which I've done in completing my bachelor's with TESC).

At least ~$1000, without the books/supplies. The cost of a TECEP includes proctoring fee through ProctorU, and I'm not aware of TESC having any other fees in my time with them (since Nov 2013).

And if I went a different route that didn't require me to complete 24 credits? My current plan would had put me at 9 credits through TECEP, I guess I could take some more TECEPS, but they might be duplicates of dssts and Cleps I already passed, like eng comp, microeconomics.
