The Kaplan PLA has been evaluated by ACE and will transfer in to TESC in substitution for PLA 100 and PLA 200. This will fulfill the Practical Skills requirement.
"Marc Singer, the vice provost for the Center for the Assessment of Learning , confirmed that the Kaplan PLA course will be accepted in substitution for PLA-100 and PLA-200. He also confirmed with the registrar that the course counts as gen ed and intellectual and practical skills. "If an advisor tells you it is just a free elective, then he or she is misinformed. You should probably contact the registrar if the course has been evaluated differently."
