When taxes are raised people have less money to spend so, less children are born because raising children in a high tax economy is expensive

right, because everyone knows poor people don't have children

that's why slums in Brazil and India have almost ceased to exist

the number of poor people keeps dwindling and as they do so do the size of the slums
