I am math-phobic for sure... I ended up taking the (behavioral science-) stats class at my local community college for cheap and got an A+... after walking out of the final exam when I knew I couldn't finish more than 50% of it.
I was a 30 year old among much smarter (as far as math) 19-21 year-olds, and still out scored most of them somehow. You can finish the open-book, open-note ALEKS stats course just fine, I promise you. And I'm telling you this as someone who would probably struggle in an intro-to-college-math course.
