First, I never said people can't change. What I was alluding to is that his quote was pretty god dang awful -- and strong. And in about 100 weeks later he began his political career (or maybe earlier). I suppose it wouldn't make much sense for him to do anything but "reform". Yeah, color me a cynic.

Yep, those Mormons these days are horrible. Anyways, each of the Abrahamic religious texts have slavery, rape, racism, all sorts of juicy stuff. Most of this is ignored by 99% of the adherents (errr.....excluding some "organized extremist groups" as Hillary would put it).

Exactly, but you wouldn't withhold your support from a Mormon, Christian, Muslim, or Jew or from someone who interacted with a Mormon, Christian, Muslim, or Jew. There are still many Mormons alive who were practicing members during their days of excluding black men from the priesthood e.g. Mitt Romney.

The Clintons didn't mind his support when he wasn't a presidential candidate pandering to white separatists and making racist attacks against an American judge.

My major is a sub-field of international relations, not IT or even homeland security; but, the email blunder is problematic. However, I have to go with the lesser of two evils. I don't know what Trump is going to do in office because he's never honest about what he stands for. All I know is that he talks like an idiot.
