When you say "Donald Trump Jr. books an interview with a known, current-day white supremacy leader", it appears that you are being misleading. If you mean "known, current-day white supremacy leader" as in it is documented somewhere, then I suppose this is true (after looking this guy up). But if you mean "known" as in it is common knowledge among the general population (and especially of Trump Jr), then you are being dishonest.

Again, which makes the most sense? Some incompetent paper pusher scheduled an interview (and granted media credentials) with someone they hadn't fully vetted, or that the campaign really wants to grant interviews to white supremacist talking heads? How's the thinking on that one? Are they doing this to give a quiet nod to these losers? Well, any type of nod (the type you are suggesting) would obviously be much discussed in the white power realm. And I imagine a few folks would monitor an activity like that (media matteras?). Hmmm, not a great campaign strategy, I agree.
