Wow. I've been reading this thread and am blown away that someone comes on here without anything helpful to say and attacks the very people who have been the most dedicated and helpful folks here. I can't find value in the arse's comments.
Dfrecore was a tremendous help to me, as well as many of the other dedicated volunteers here. What she helped me with worked. That's what ultimately mattered. Cost / method / time are all very personal decisions for how we get from a to b. I did a mixture of CLEPs, butt-in-seat, online, SL, PF to reach my goal. Course content and personal strengths steered my decision on method. Cost was not significant to me because no matter how I did it, the end result was still significantly cheaper than traditional paths. Total cost for me, start to finish, with 25 years to do it was $6,800 all in.
My point is this: appreciate the degree plans offered. Tweak what you can to maximize your own strengths, and don't listen to a random who shows up with nothing valuable to offer.
