The inability to skip around is one of the worst things about TESU tests, including TECEPs. Questions are grouped into sections (often as few as 5 multiple choice questions in a section). You can move around in a section, but once you leave it you cannot return. Essays are even worse since every TESU test I've taken has had each essay be it's own section. You cannot budget your writing time or length because you have no idea how difficult the other questions are going be.

Ok, I'm glad I know that in advance. Thank you for the details. I'll have to try and overestimate the time needed for remaining essays.

I don't suppose we can have a blank scratch paper and pencil? (To write down our mnemonics, for example.)
