Study.com vs STRAIGHTERLINE
#11
I loved study.com but by the time I got to the 9th and last course I was exhausted and burnt out. I really, really wish you could test out of a course. They have those assessments now in some of the courses but they only get you so far. I wish that if you could pass the practice final you could go straight to the proctored final. In some cases, I already knew the information in the course and didn't need all those quizzes. But the upside is that I feel its a no fail system. By the time you repeat all that information over and over again its hard not to get 55% on a final exam.

The downside to SL for me was that by the time you pay for all the course material it could potentially be a lot more expensive and I didn't like that you had to schedule exams. With study.com I took some of my exams at 6 am and some of them at midnight. It was really flexible.

I guess the key is that you find what works for you. Do study.com one month and take the courses there you can't get at SL, then switch the next month. Find what works for you and then plug away. Quicker/easier/cheaper - it all depends on your personal situation and end goal.
