COSC AS/BS....ease of use, something a little different.
#1
Something a little different. We often look at how to reduce cost and time but I have a student with learning issues who is severely test phobic. I think with very specific instruction a credit by exam would maybe be OK (that's how the Davar Academy stuff makes the list) but what i'm really looking for is ease and confidence building without breaking the bank. Striaghterline and Penn Foster are sort of the nucleus. I figure they can concentrate on one thing at a time and just keep plowing through. In my mind the second half is easy once the AS is accomplished. This person flies airplanes (fully licensed through multi engine and instrument flying) but school was a chore and they lack academic confidence. I do need to keep it affordable and I'm hoping that with a little SL and maybe a couple of Davar Academy courses they will figure out that CLEP and DSST aren't to be feared...but till then.

What would you substitute or change of the below thinking..."ease"/confidence builder. I want to stick with COSC as I know it best and will be the default adviser for this person.
