I just checked the descriptions again. You're right, the class I'm looking at does say "The student’s final grade will be based solely on a final examination." But, earlier in the same page, they do say that you must have access to Pearson labs, so that's what was confusing. Maybe Pearson lab is only necessary if you want to do the "optional" homework? Or if you need more info? I'm guessing.

There are quite a few classes that I still need, so it's really nice to know that Davar is still on the table.
