dfrecore Wrote:You need 12cr of UL in the AOS for a BSBA. The problem with the Finance AOS is not getting UL credit, but getting the final course. Davar has 2 courses that will work in the AOS, the Intro to Finance course comes in as the Finance course in the core, so it won't count in the AOS. 2 TECEP's and a DSST are also available.
There are a couple of possibilities for that 6th course, but they are unknown at this time in terms of course equivalencies, and if they will work in the AOS.
Security Analysis & Portfolio Mgmt (TECEP) >> FIN-321
Financial Institutions & Markets (TECEP) >>FIN-331
Money & Banking (DSST) >> ECO-322
Corporate Finance (Davar/PF) >> FIN-311
Multinational Business Finance (Davar) >> FIN-334
Intro to Finance (Study.com) >> FIN-100 Unknown if it will come into the AOS
Assessing & Managing Risk (CSU-Global CBE) Unknown if it will come into the AOS, although it's UL and SHOULD work there
Thanks so much for clarifying that!
ok, so you need 12 UL credits, and 6 other Finance credits?
I'm not sure of the utility of a finance degree by testing out, as I suspect (by looking at some of the material) that this is not "real" finance classes, and I would just get credits, but not real finance knowledge. I also don't know if there are a lot of jobs in the finance sector anyway, so I think I'll skip this for now...
Thank you, ideas, I appreciate all the help!
