Before deciding that the best path is the shortest one, you should have her figure out what degree she needs for the jobs she wants. If she ends up with a degree that won't get her a job, it wasn't worth the money even if it was the least amount.
If she just needs a checkbox degree, that's fine. But if not, she may struggle with that degree.
