So....How is your day going

Great, I am still on the North Shore, Oahu. Bad, because vacation ends tomorrow, then back to the salt mine.

  I always wanted to go there after seeing a surf documentary in the 11th grade. But I have one question if you don't mind me asking this , are the locals nice?

Yes, the locals are nice.  I've been there many times (and Kauai, the Big Island, and Maui as well), and the locals are very nice.  In 19 years of going, we haven't ever had a bad experience there at all in terms of anyone not being nice (sometimes the food is subpar, but that's another story).

My husband goes to Oahu at least 4x a year for work, and has never had a bad experience either.  His only complaint is the traffic.

  I've been longing to go for a while , possible transfer to a 2-year there. I've seen beautiful pictures of the island so I can imagine how it is actually being there. How was your day?
