@merlin how was the C?
The course covers the basics and some advanced stuff but needs more hands on programming assignments to help students succeed. It's also very rough, as in a lot of typos and structural / mechanical errors. I mainly took it for the easy 3 credits, but I suspect it may be challenging for folks taking it as their first programming course.
The final assignment wasn't required when I took it but it looks pretty simple given the examples in the course cover everything you need to do in the final project.
