Wish I hadn't given Straighterline my money

I cannot believe this. I unknowingly canceled my membership several hours too late because I was consumed in my other responsibilities. StraighterLine STRAIGHT UP told me "no," I'm not getting my money back. I asked for a reimbursement the same day it happened. I don't have an extra hundred to dollars to just give out. StraighterLine has been nothing but complicated for me and I'm so tired of it. I need that money back. I worked my butt off to get all my assignments done on time because I couldn't afford another month's worth of membership.

I can't imagine being on their team and denying someone a refund for the simplest mistake. That's so greedy.

This has been their policy for a long time. As far as I know, SL never offers refunds. I have an extra course I paid for that will sit on there for a long time since I don't need it now and I cannot get it refunded. If you want a refund you'll probably have to ask your credit card company to not honor the charge. But that may open up other issues with SL, so I don't know if it is worthwhile unless you REALLY need that $99 back.

I know this doesn't help you now, but you're not alone in stuff like this happening. Many of us have gotten into the habit of canceling our SL membership right after we renew it. Accounts don't expire until the end of the payment period and that way you don't have to worry about accidental auto-renewal. Plus you can choose to leverage a subscription discount when you renew, if there is an active code you haven't used yet,
