I also took the DSST to fulfill my statistics requirement. Attached is the equivalency from TESU's site.
To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure how I passed (got the minimum score). I took it while they were offering a free re-test, studied for a couple of days, and just went for it. Their site says that you generally only need a 56% to pass. So if you're in a rush, it just might be your best option (though I'm personally going to be doing some brushing up).
