So, have you email or chat with the university in question about the academic/course forgiveness or to see if you can take the course again for a discount/audit. Can you ask to have that class changed from a credit course to an audit course? Ask for your options and see if you can get it done for cheap, or free if at all possible. Can you ask them to provide you that "free course" again as a "redo". Then post here your options...
