Edit Reason: Cleaned up quote
)
I have been following this forum for a bit, and feel that I have a bit to contribute. This is my first post, and as I can see, doesn't earn me a lot of credibility, but hopefully the information will help anyone who is considering or just curious about the program. I found the program, admittedly on Groupon, and laughed a bit. But the audacity of them to claim that you could earn an MBA for $300 and that they advertise on Groupon raised my curiosity . I came across this forum, and one respectable member made the comment to "think critically to the level of someone who aspires to a master's degree" (sic). So I decided to do just that. What is being offered here is called a "título propio" un Spain. It is recognized in Spain and throughout Europe throughout the private sector, and is a legitimate degree accredited by the university. I decided to message them with some questions, and will include the response I received, as I feel it could be helpful.
Also, I apologise for the formatting issues that caused it to include so much garbage in the post. I'm trying to figure out how to edit that away.
Quote:Does this mean that it is considered to be a degree offered and granted by Universidad Isabel I de Castilla? Or just that they recognize the degree?
The University accredits and grants the degree but does not offer it or conduct it, we do that. This is the legal way for business schools to proceed in Spain, they must partner up with a ministry-accredited University that certifies their contents and procedures, and then awards the degree.
Second, does that University hold any commencement ceremonies, and if so, do graduates of ENEB get to participate in the ceremony?
As you're a student of ENEB, and not of the University, I don't supose you can attend their ceremonies. We don’t currently hold graduation or iniciation ceremonies, due to the fact that we have students from many different countries. But since many north-american and Caribbean students have been inquiring about this, we’re looking to see how we can hold a Graduation Ceremony. We’ll let you all know once the decision is made.
Third, do you know if the degrees issued by ENEB qualify as the equivalent to a US Masters degree when submitted to a foreign credential evaluation service such as World Education Services?
You would have to ask the WES about the specific US equivalent, but in Europe it does qualify as a level 7 EQF degree.
Lastly, i am considering completing the Micromasters MBA core curriculum from EDX would ENEB recognize the credits from their course for credit towards the MBA program as a way to shorten the course of study (information about their program can be found here......)
Yes, the Admissions department would require your transcript from them to do so.
We remain at your disposal for any further information.
Kind regards
