The email I received upon registration said that, within 30 days of that email, I could tell them my desired start date. I don't know if there is a limitation for a future start date, but they didn't indicate one. You could sign up for the groupon and set a start date in the distant future, perhaps.
Tempting. Very tempting. I might do that later. I want to get more Sophia courses under my belt at least, before I do that, lest I wind up completing my Master's/MBA before I complete my BA. I don't want it to look like there are shenanigans going on.

1). If nothing else, I'm finally going to learn some Spanish. This is a can I've been kicking down the freeway for 20 years. Yes, the program is in English, and I literally just started it yesterday, but I took a peek ahead at the final assignment for the Strategic Management module, and it requires evaluating the business model for a website that's in Spanish. Yeah, I know, Google Translate will do the whole page into Anglais, but why not take advantage of the semi-forced opportunity to do things in Spanish? And do the Spanish language course that's included, of course. For me, that alone is probably worth the $249 (I only did the MBA). Again, others may have a different take.
How good is the Spanish course? I've seen a lot of terrible language courses over the years and I'm curious if this one is any good.
