Chickened out newbie

I think one big hurdle in this process in the lack of testing centers. Even the two closest centers are at least half an hour drive from my home. And don't even get me started about their stinky schedules. One friday a month for one of them. Third wednesday of every month for the other. The only choice left is to travel 40 miles for a center that tests every Friday at 10:00am.

I think this is one of the reasons, I have cancelled two times. Between sending the kids to school and driving in early morning rush hour to make it there at 9:45 gives me cold feet.

OK, cold feet are normal- but ya know what? Do it anyway! $90 is no joke- but it's also not the end off the world!!!!! Don't let a few dollars get in the way of TRYING.

Consider how MUCH MORE time you will have to spend with your children if you don't have to take these two courses! MONTHS are gained.

I promise you, that when that first test is all said and done- you will be a changed woman

Before you test, double check that the exams you are planning to take will absolutely positively count and be accepted by your college. (Freshman Comp worries me, be certain they want it instead of English Composition With Essay)
