Study.com pros & cons

So you're forced to read and take copious notes and try to make an educated guess on what is or is not important.

Agree that a typical college and SL course gives you a 1000+ page textbook, then acts like you are supposed to read and memorize the whole thing which is physically impossible. What you are actually tested on is a small percentage of the material.

With Sophia/Study/Instantcert their content combined is around 300 pages or less which is much more manageable. If you study the quizzes/practice tests you will always pass the final.

People new to online learning don't realize this is like going from a bike to a car. Way easier way to get to point A to B.

Sophia I have found to be quicker but Study.com is fast too once you get the hang of it.

2 windows open side by side, one window for the course lesson, the other for the quizzes. Works fast that way. Knowing how to search for specific text helps too. Getting 100% on quizzes is easy. If you are not getting 100% then you are doing it wrong.

Once you average 100% the quizzes, you give yourself an easy layup on the exam having to only score 50%.
