If you're far from obtaining a Bachelors and you've already got your Associates courses completed, then I would go for the AA/AS if it will help you in the job search or promotion, etc. If you're just a few courses away from the BA/BS, then I would just truck on and get the BA/BS. You can always add in the AA/AS free en route to it and graduate them both the same time...
