You're overthinking this a little too much, but the short answer is 'Yes'. Having said that, you don't need to worry about the General Education section at all, the reason is because the difference in the second degree is already made up with the Area of Study requirements, there is no need to spend extra time doing more general education courses when your focus would be obtaining the Bachelors.
