I think that the people who are warning you about the UMPI class are doing so because it probably will NOT work for your future plans. If you NEED Micro to be RA, taking a combined course at UMPI probably will not count as a prereq for your Master's. Take it from TEL. Then take Macro at Sophia. To UMPI, it's the same. To a Master's program, these are completely different things. You might have to reorganize your degree plan a little, but you should still be able to make your January date if you work hard.
