FYI for people doing this I recommend 15+ sources in bibliography. I did just ten and they didn't like it.
That's crazy. If they're going to do that, then they really need to nail down a minimum requirement for sources, because this is now the 4 or 5th time I've heard something like this.
I know this sort of subjectivity is common in grading everywhere in the world, but with the sheer volume of papers they take in, the last thing you want to have is people being graded all over the map with the same or greater number of sources, but without a set rhyme or reason for grading in those ways. It not only makes a bigger workload for the administration having to field so many grade challenges, it's also frustrating for students who can't be sure before submission whether or not they've supplied enough source material to satisfy an unwritten rule.
