When I found a couple programs, they weren't interested and asked "What's the tuition at U. Florida?" "Why U. Florida?" "Well I don't want to graduate from a school I have zero emotional connection to. If I'm going to go through the trouble, I'm doing it at a school I WANT to go to."
Fair enough. It's their life. Fortunately, the online in-state tuition there is really reasonable, and through family that live there, it's probably not hard for them to qualify for in-state tuition in 12 months.
