I definitely I want the Associate's Degree first, so I am going to check out Pierpont.
@Vle045, I currently work in an alternative school and I love it. I'm more like an unofficial school counselor than a case manager aide, lol. I never thought I'd like something like this.

Since you have already attended college (even if for three credits) you will likely not have to produce proof of HS completion, since you have college credits to transfer. No matter what school you end up at you're automatically a transfer student due to your prior CC (this is good news for you).
Houston Community College is open-admission, even without a GED or diploma. I also attended Santa Monica College in California, but I had to drop out there before the semester was over. They didn't need any proof of graduation, either.
That's good news that I'll be a transfer student.
In my personal experience I had always been able to apply and become accepted as a transfer student from my original CC transcript without an associates earned, or proof of diploma/GED, just my CC credits (too many colleges and universities to list). It has been pointed out after my statement here, that this is something where YMMV with different schools. However, since you're now planning the Pierpont BOG AAS degree first it should resolve the issue all together.
