Does anyone have a link they could share about that policy at COSC? Is it something that is added automatically or do I need to check a box in the application or what?
It doesn't appear to be the case that COSC has a tuition discount for Sophia. Compared to, for example, Excelsior, which places their discount prominently on the home page, COSC does not: https://charteroak.sophia.org/
It looks like SDC has a discount for COSC, but it's only for "New Charter Oak State College students residing outside the state of Connecticut".
Quote:New Charter Oak State College students residing outside the state of Connecticut can receive a 10% tuition discount if you’re transferring Study.com credits to Charter Oak. In order to receive the 10% discount, you must complete at least one Study.com course before you make your college enrollment deposit. After receiving your Study.com transcript, Charter Oak will apply the 10% tuition discount to courses taken at Charter Oak.
If you already paid your enrollment deposit before sending your transcript, you must request a referral to Charter Oak by reaching out to the Study.com Support team. Study.com coursework must have been completed prior to your submission of the enrollment deposit for the tuition discount to be applied.
