By the time you're done with the AAS, you can print out the HS diploma and have your hubby sign it off.  You can print it off today if you wanted, have an adult in the household other than yourself sign it as that's the basic requirement.  Some states have a slight different requirement, but shouldn't cause too much of an issue.  I wouldn't be too critical with a homeschool high school diploma.  The Pierpont BOG AAS is just the beginning of your journey and the end for the need of a high school diploma...

Not necessarily.  I just applied for a government job, and yep, they wanted my high school diploma.
