Twitter closed at around $45 a share. The offer is $54 a share, which is around 20% above where it's trading now.
Someone else could step in and offer $65 a share to outbid Musk for all we know. So then we got a bidding war.
Then Musk could say, I don't care what you all bid. I'm taking it to a vote of the shareholders.
