Can you get 2 associate degrees from 2 different schools,
using many of the same credits?

On the other board, I remember a write-up on a man (and his website) who, over a very few years, earned something like 17 different associate degrees from the SAME RA school. I think he also had one BA and a Master's (MBA?) from somewhere else. Why the College allowed these multiple degrees I'm not sure - perhaps to keep him from bothering people. He seemed rather argumentative, obtrusive and quite suspicious-minded, by nature. I'm pretty sure (and others agreed) that he was mentally ill - but not intellectually impaired. 

I'm not suggesting IN ANY WAY anyone is mentally ill here - but why do two associates when you can do --- something else, that would be more to your advantage? You CAN do two (or more) associate degrees - but you CAN'T get any of that TIME back.

Followup: The man mentioned in my previous post now lists well over a dozen Associates from RA Colleges. He has about a half-dozen RA Bachelor's degrees from well-known RA schools. He has several RA Masters degrees and has done doctoral study. It appears he has not been employed for almost two decades.

Suggestion to midnite123. if you absolutely MUST - then OK get two associate degrees. But DON'T start a collection - whatever you do!
