The OP has a military discount, so the TECEPs can be used instead of taking TESU courses which are far cheaper. However, the OP needs 24 total TESU credits instead of 16 credits to avoid the residency waiver.

You're right! I'm not sure how I missed the whole military thing. TECEPs are a better option than foreign credits, if you get the military discount.
