Hi there, long time lurker here, 

In terms of career value, has anyone received any benefit/opportunities (promotion, career pivot, new job)?

I am considering the Masters in Big Data or one of the other ones (Digital Marketing, commerce).

Some students in the Big Data program have said that it's theoretical and doesn't teach how to use big data tools and software. You will have to decide for yourself if you're willing to learn the big data tools and software on your own as you're doing the masters, or afterward.

I don't have any benefits/opportunities to report because I'm not finished with my programs and haven't tried to start using them yet. Also, I pursued the MBA (the second masters was a bonus for $50 extra dollars) to satisfy a personal goal. I don't doubt that I'll make use of my MBA in some kind of positive way, but what that will look like I don't know.
