Why Tipping Is So Out Of Control In The U.S.

I don’t tip unless I have a server through the entire dining experience and then I tip generously because that is what they depend on for their living.  Pickups = no

I think it’s awkward to have a drive thru clerk or fast food clerk hand you a ticket that has  the option for a tip.
If I owned that kind of establishment, I would not put my customers in that position.

Ubers = yes
Pizza delivery = yes
Grocery delivery = yes.

Subway = no
