Someone on the forum said the Capstone is no longer on a fixed schedule, so maybe you could complete 8 courses in one term now.

I'm pretty sure with talking with PUG recently (I'm starting in early June) that the capstone is still on a fixed schedule. What HAS changed, though, is that you can now take the capstone in the same term as other classes. That said, I think it's hard to imagine you would be able convince PUG to sign you up for the capstone right off the bat in the first term, having not passed any other classes before. So I would say the reasonable minimum is two terms for a BS IT.

It's hard to keep up with the changes on some of the schools.

I do know going back 2 years, according to this Reddit post, that they allowed you to take the capstone along with other courses considering you were down to your last 1 or 2 courses.
