Tesu computer science degree

Course Expected
mean under
Part G. AOS Electives
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...ience_Plan

does it mean 18 credits of "electives" are required, but they expect the electives to be
System Analysis & Design I
Database Management
Management Information Systems
Software Engineering

and from TESU's catalog

B. Computer Science Electives (18 Credits)
For computer science electives, please contact an academic advisor.

https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/en/curre...r-science/

so is the academic advisor going to say "yes, they are electives, but we strongly expect to see ..." what's in the wiki ?

or do they pretty much let you choose any upper level CS course
like those in the lower part of  Part G. AOS Electives
or
CS360 - Mobile Architecture and Programming
https://www.snhu.edu/admission/academic-...5d9c8a7237
or others
while choosing none of the courses in the top part

just confused by the phrasing "expected"

"Expected" here is what the person who created the wiki chose; it's probably not what I would have chosen to call it, and TESU certainly doesn't "expect" those courses.

As for being able to use other UL CS courses, you can choose what you want, but you need to be careful that the course you want to take is not an ITS/CYB/CAP course (what TESU might bring them in as) because they won't take "applied" courses, only "theory" ones for the BACS degree.  It needs to be something that comes in as COS/CIS, and even then, I'd ask TESU what they'd bring this course in as.

Also, TESU will bring in courses as UL that they also have LL courses in.  So if you found an UL Software Engineering course (like Saylor's) and also a LL Software Engineering course (like SDC's), you can do both of them (and we recommend those both, because you can use the LL course to study for the UL course).
