You can work with UMPI in regards to what gets used for your degree and what does not. You can transfer more than 90 credits to UMPI, but only 90 max will be used for your degree. The extra credits will go to the unused portion of your transcript. It's fine. There are multiple students from here who have transferred in 100+ credits to UMPI and were able to get their degree.
