I was trying to keep it under $10k as I already have a US RA doctorate, so this is more of a lifelong achievement. I remember Azteca/UCN was around $6500 IIRC. Vern scares me because not only are they relatively new, their actual degree isnt a degree but a certificate, says so right on the diploma. Im gonna have to dig a little further since I am pretty sure the Azteca/UCN partnership is gone for good.

The Brittany/Vern partnership with UCAM is a good option. Even though their fees are in HK, the US equivalent is roughly $13350 so about the same as the UCAM DBA by itself which usually runs about $14000. The additional diplomas with transcripts from the partner schools are a plus which will ensure an official DBA evaluation from atleast one NACES FCE. UCAM has a lot better reputation than Azteca but oddly has as many if not more university validation partners. UCAM is also a partner with Azteca and some of the non-accredited US schools that have cross validations as well.
Thanks for this, its a little more than I am looking to pay but I will dig further. I looked into Unicaf as well. Lots of options, none of them great, but at my pricepoint I really cannot complain.
