* CLEP subject examination update. Thomas Edison State University has conducted an academic program review on this exam. Credit awarded for this exam will be considered TESU assessment credit, not TESU-CLEP credit, and will show on the official transcript under TESU assessment credit.
Here's the kicker, with the changes to the reviews, I think they're treating these the same as a PLA Assessment, thus they're coming in as assessment credits. If that's the case, it'll be amazingly cheap compared to doing a TECEP or even PLA for these equivalent classes... Oh, in addition to this, for those who are just starting their journey and want to take CLEP/MS over Sophia.org, you may want to be the guinea pig! My gosh, if this works, you've saved the 24 RA credit requirement by using these 4 CLEPs towards the 30 RA credit requirement, thus leaving only the Cornerstone/Capstone to be done at TESU. Of course, people need to decide if paying that residency is favorable or doing the flat rate for 15 residency credits.
