That's correct, institution GPA is only an internal GPA you get when you've taken classes from them, they aren't transferred to another institution. Other colleges or universities will only take that in respect to applications, entry requirements, scholarships, transfer credit, etc.

ACE/NCCRS credits, for the most part, do not have GPA associated with them, there are exceptions to this, if the provider is also a college or university, such as Penn Foster College ACE credit and/or Genesis University NCCRS credit, both also have NA by DEAC.

Alternative credit doesn't carry the GPA, but some schools may look at the overall completion of these and see how you're doing respectively with your current education and will sometimes look at this for entry requirements. You don't have to worry much...

Most of the time, institutions will regard them similar to what they do with AP, IB, CLEP/DSST, and other internal challenge exams or PLA credit, they'll limit the number you can bring in, you still need to complete the remaining residency requirements.
