MSM vs MBA vs other

What I keep trying to figure out, but it's so hard to get out of your own head, is whether there is much value for someone mid-career to get something like a UIUC master's vs something like UMPI MAOL. The best I can figure out, the answer is "probably not, but maybe." If it put me over the top for being hired one time or being promoted one time, it would be worth it, but it's so hard to predict as it's just going to come down to individual circumstances and the opinion of maybe one individual hiring manager etc. But that's what I'm trying to work through right now. I have a little time, I don't need to let UMPI know for about three weeks, and I won't get the "next steps" email from UIUC for a few more days.
