It was in the '70s and you can thank the Department of Education and Federal student loans for the current situation.

Yeah back in the 70's you could afford a house on a single income. Housing was affordable with wages. That hasn't been the case in many decades. A lot changed economically in this country when Reagan became president and his trickle down nonsense that has never worked.

Don’t you see? The Department of Education caused inflation. Once they are destroyed we will be living in paradise.
