I have to give a big shoutout to this forum for introducing me to South College. It was a wild ride but I finally finished my grandfather's dream of earning a doctorate.Great news! Well done Doctor!
Congrats! An amazing accomplishment.
It wasn't an option for me but I did hear about the capstone rumors. Not sure how I like it. More options is never a bad thing but than again the disseration took everything from me and more. There was alot of talk about how long students were expected to be in the program and very few actually were finishing at their "expected" times. It was wierd. They talk alot about being like WGU but at the same time did not want students rushing through the program but the capstone seems design to really help students get through more efficiently. At the end of the day it not my concern and I hope it helps students, but I do wonder the motive for this.
