In my opinion, the thing about ALECKS that is appealing to me is that you don't have to go somewhere and test. It's all coursework- you can't hardly get that lucky taking an online class, usually everyone wants some type of exam- and with online classes, sometimes that means finding a proctor too. Additionally, if you are a slow-poke at math (me!) and need a lot of time to work out a problem, this is the best. The exams are timed, while ALECKS allows you to take your sweet time. Big Grin
