3) They are quite generous with their scholarships (depending on their funding that year), most of the critics here are forgetting that UoPeople is allowing even poor af people from around the world get (a now RA) bachelor for free most of the time.

Affordable college has always existed in the U.S. as Community/Junior Colleges. The problem is most "poor" people fail out at very high rate because they cannot use ChatGPT to get by unlike UoPeople. All UoPeople is doing is allowing people from 3rd world countries like India to pretend to have a degree equivalent of those who earned it.

The idealistic delusion of educating the world's poor was burst years ago with MOOCs.

In some places, like California, community colleges are prevalent and low cost, but this isnt the case in all states. Many also do not offer more than a 2-year degree.

Also, why cant someone from a third world country get a degree? What a weird thing to say.
