That is true. I think it’s more of a “Leadership” club. There was no request for transcripts or even asking for GPA. Joining through the online chapter just involved a little blurb about why you want to join. If you like fluff (as I do) it could be worth the one time fee. There’s videos to watch and some leadership activities you can do. They have success coaches if you are early in your career want some interview or resume help (most colleges have this too). You are supposed to be able to do a DISC Assessment but the link doesn’t seem to be working. You also get access to BenefitHub, if that interests you. And an obscure benefit I found is that if you are interested in Columbia Southern, The NSLS is a Learning Partner and qualifies you for a tuition discount there. That alone is worth more than $95, if that school is of interest. So you do get something for your membership fee.
