CS Degree - What would be the best path?

Edwardss44 Wrote:Hey, coming back (https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...-best-path) and so far I’ve completed the following courses (I’m almost done with French I):

Now, I plan on also taking the following:

1. Coursera: BUS 345: Database Management, BUS 400: Project Management App., BUS 245: Programming for Managers
2. Study.com: BUS 150: Introduction to Financial Accounting, BUS 244: Management Information Systems

I have some questions, I would be very grateful if you could answer them:

1. Are there any other Sophia courses that I should take (for PM&IS, BCSC or MAOL)? I'm asking this because my goal is to finish every Sophia courses needed so I can stop paying the monthly subscription.
2. What other Coursera & Study.com courses should I take beside those that I already mentioned? I’m planning to work through each platform one at a time to stay focused and avoid paying multiple subscriptions at once.
3. After I'm done with Sophia, Coursera and Study.com do you think that it would be enough for me to finish in one term (I'll start with PM&IS for now). Considering that I completed all of these Sophia courses in around two months and that I work from home as a freelancer, so this allows me to fully focus for as many hours I want on UMPI if needed.

I hope that my questions makes sense.

Thanks a lot in advance for your guidance! I really appreciate what you're doing.

1.  No, if you've got all the Sophia.org classes on the WIKI for transfer, that's all you need, unless you want to take some for extra knowledge, or towards an extra minor.  I would do the classes if you have a subscription already...

2.  Coursera are certificates used as extra fluff/padding towards the Certs, Degree, Experience trifecta, I would take the cheapies and freebies & Study.com is for the general education and electives, and some classes that may still go towards the major.

3.  If you max your transfer of 90+ credits, you'll only need 30 residency credits.  You should be able to complete this in one session.
