This is a very odd combination of skills. 4 years teaching engineering ethics AND a PE is a very select group. Most faculty at top Universities dont even hold those credentials because they typically represent two different career paths.
It also suggests a potential pivot. Sounds like they might be planning an engineering or engineering technology program. Though with just ethics and math, it is hard to say for what.
